It all started back in 2002 with our love for ponchos … and the frustrating lack of choice on the high street.
We started selling our own sexy, lightweight cotton knit ponchos at London’s famous Portobello Market and they drew so much attention that we launched electric poppy, a fashion business selling to some of the country's best known and prestigious retailers.
Despite this, we have not forgotten our roots and continue to sell at Portobello Market every Saturday – it really is the stream of people that visit our stall every week that gives electric poppy its inspiration.
